Early Childhood Major

Being a teacher is not easy what other people may think. It’s needed a passion when you are pursuing this dream. When I enter college the major that I chooses is Early Childhood, in this major I will learn many things especially in children. At first, when I enter this major, I thought that it is easy because it is only teaching kids but no. This major show me if I still want to pursue this dream. It tests my love about teaching. I learned a lot on this major especially on children itself, not only on how I will teach them but also on how I will choose topics, instructional materials, and activities that are reliable to them. Being early childhood major is hard, we are not only studying the curriculum about this major but also, we need to become a talented and creative student teacher. Creating lesson plan is one of the hardest parts for me because it is my plan, creating these needs so much focus because it is my guide on a specific lesson for a day or for a week. Making a different kind of activities that are reliable to the students is also the things I need to consider as a student teacher, I will not choose activities because I want them to do of my students, but I will choose activities that are reliable to them as diverse students. Being creative is also important when you are early childhood major, because I will teach children nursery to grade 3 making colorful and creative instructional materials is what I need to do for them to motivate to listen on me. Lastly being early childhood major you need to have a strong passion on your dream course or on your dream job, you need to always remember your love on it, and it will help you to get this successfully.
